I don't really celebrate anything. I give presents to my friends who celebrate Christmas/Chanukah/some winter holiday that has a tradition of gift giving. But I am looking forward to Chinese New Year. :)

Christmas is a holy day of obligation if you're a Christian, no church should not have services. o_O

I celebrate Christmas religously...I am a devout born again and proud of it, not to sound offensive to anyone, but I do believe that comercialized Christmas is good in all with the happiness and joy it brings, but I don't think it should be called Christmas without the religous aspect, especially since the name implies such...

...though I don't like that our christmas service is 9 in the morning, but I can't really complain...

I celebrate present-giving, with a hint of family-togetherness and joy. :)

I don't think that commercialised Christmas should be called something else - everyone knows about the origins of the religious Christmas. Christmas, like Easter, has evolved and become something for everyone. It's good to know how the holiday came about and why it's called that, and good that it's something for everyone rather than having seperate things for seperate (non)religious groups. Better to have everyone together celebrating different things on the same day than people having to be seperate and celebrate things seperately.

Christmas, as most of my family are adherents of the religion that it has religious meaning to. There's New Year's, too.
