I've tried powerpets, got bored within 2 days, and there was another one, can't even remember the name -- that's how lame it was. Gopets is supposedly getting popular, but I'm not one to go d/l stuff I don't need and from places I don't know onto my computer.

Neo is quite enough for me. I don't think I'd really have time for anything else.

I've tried other games but either the layoutsstank or the pets were gross or the ideas behind it just werent as appealing to me as neopets is

I play other games (ex. Polairia, Subeta, Kenopets) besides Neopets.

I still prefer Neopets over them, because Neopets is a lot more developed. Other game sites are fairly recent, so it gets boring after awhile.

If we're only talking Petsites, yes, it's only Neopets. I do play other free online games, however.

http://www.barafranca.com/ This one is called Omerta, I quit a while ago because you have to spend A LOT of time on it, and I didn't find it all that fun. It's basically a text-based maffia game.

http://www.nationstates.net/ Nationstates. Build your own nation, as democratic or totalitarian as you want. Very satirical ie each decision you make has extreme consequenses - for example, if you decide that 'homeowners should be allowed to defend themselves from burglary, but not with guns' you're informed that 'burglars find themselves impaled by crossbow bolts' Very funny game to play, while at the same time making you think about the consequenses of your decisions.

I've been to marapets website to see what it looks like but I only play neopets

In order of sign up:
Neopets, CreatureWorld, Powerpets, Jinopets, ecritters and Marapets

In order of what I like:
Powerpets, Marapets, Neopets, CreatureWorld, Jinopets and ecritters

I love powerpets and marapets more since I have found some great friends and great places on them (more so than any of the others) Plus they are both similar to eachother and different to the rest. (that's how I see it anyway)

I've tried other sites, but they haven't lasted more than a couple of months

I only play Neo but I have tried a few others. Most of them have badly made games or the staff aren't very active.

The only reason I prefer some other sites to Neopets is that they have a much friendlier community. Make a board about games in the AC and you'll be hammered down before you can say shasquiggle. Unless you're a famous Neopian where-as you can spam like crazy and everyone posts "Rofl" and have a laugh. And if you kindly tell them they are off-topic you'll be hammered down by everyone else on the board except those that are sensible. Luckily (or unluckily, depending on opinion) that isn't a great enough reason to play some other petsite. BUT, if I find a friendly site, with a great community and games that are any good I would probably join.

THAT is why I don't ever go to the Neoboards, unless I REALLY REALLY HAVE TO. These boards are much nicer.
