I don't know if the number of gems matters so much as the placement (think night sky). Also, go upstairs. ;)

I'm enjoying this!! Trying to figure out what to do next is interesting! I've gotten to the blue gems in the ceiling, and my oil was behind Sasha the Dancer.

For those of you finding the rags; are they actually in sight in the picture, or are they hidden?

Or is there another step I have to complete first? o_O

It will just randomly say you find a rag and stuff behind it-theres no clicking around to find it, suprisingly. Oo; Just try some other statues if you can't find them. The janitor has to tell you you need oil first though.

I have 20 gems by the way.

This IS fun...but I'm also stuck. --'

Did you go to the archives at all yet? There are some things you need to do there first.

You need to complete another step first then. ^_^ He'll stop being ticked off once you do that...try exploring the archives and the quarry some. ;P

Also, the "tab" key is VERY usefull to find hard-to-find links. Once its tabed, hit enter, and viola. You can see what is tabed by looking at the bottom of your browser, it will display the link like you are hovering over it. :)
