I'm playing fetch and the page keeps refreshing all by itself after I make my move. It's pretty annoying and is taking longer to finish, obviously. Does this happen normally with this game; it's so odd.

Yes, Fetch is not a Flash game so you have to reload the page after everymore just like in neggsweeper
This is taking me for ages cause i only have dialup

That took me less than 5 minutes and i've been looking forward to the next part, and it's barely anything.

I'm sure a lot of people would love to share in your disappointment! I'm almost out of health points, but can see the books which I can't get to.

As for the refreshing, I mean that after I make my move and the page refreshes with my new move on it (like in NQ), it's automatically refreshing yet again. I'm sorry for your dial-up; that's a bummer, for sure.

You're probably right. It was so weird though, i just turned a few corners and there was the books, and i had used up possible 12 hps!

I asked this way back on page one, but no one seems to have answered it yet, so I'll ask again. Do I have to keep the maps that I made of the parts of the woods that I've already completed?

I don't particularly think you have to. The woods aren't that big anyways.

As a matter of fact, I didn't even make maps for the woods except for the Deep Woods... and I only had to map 25 sections for that one anyways.

Well, while everyone else is completing about the ease of this step, I must comment on the latest chapter of the comic.

I love it. Sophie pwns the annoying usul. XD

Now to play Fetch.... *twich*

Once again, thanks to you guys for letting me know exactly what to do. Without your help I would hae run straight to the esophagor to do impossible quests.

I managed to do Fetch with 12 hitpoints left. My tip is just to wander around and try and avoid dead ends which will suck up your hitpoints.

If you're getting frustrated waiting for every square to load in Fetch! try going to Tools>Internet Options>Settings...>Never (or Every time you start Internet Explorer)

If they never again involve fetch in a plot I think I will have much happier days.

wow i'm kind of surprised that it seems like i'm the only one w/ a strategy. I tend to stay towards the edge of the maze. The reason for this is the one time i've been to a real maze that was the trick to getting through it. I've played fetch on easy a couple of times using this method and won but i'm not saying this is definately going to work.

Winning on easy is never challenging.

Anyway, fetch is mostly luck. My only 'strategy' was to go in directions that'd allow me to view as large as possible parts of the maze that I hadn't seen yet, so get away from the edges and go in directions you haven't been in yet. But I had about half my hp left when I came across it. It's just luck, no one should need more than a few tries.
