'Twas only accounts under 13, I believe.

oh no.. it definitely wasn't only accounts under 13.. that's why there was a huge outcry from adult neousers. Why did the over 18's need to be banned from playing the 'gambling' games?

It was only things like fruit machine that were banned. The rest of neopets could still be played

Gambling or not, the worldwide Neopets/McDonalds endorsement deal ended after the last promotion. It may have been related to the change in ownership of Neopets. Viacom probably has its own promotion deals in place and McDonalds may not have been in their plans (since McDonalds, at that time, had contracts with Disney also). All Micky D's items have been turned into Neopets Items and all the McDonalds site promo things have been gone for months and months.

It was all under 13 accounts for all countries. Too bad parents use tv and the computer as babysitters.

It wasn't over 13 for Australia during the promotion. It was all Australians that were banned

Yay! I like this promotion because of two reasons:
1. I'm Canadian
2. I LOVE Lucky Charms <3

Silly Canadians, rare item codes are for...wait, I'm thinking of the wrong slogan, aren't I? :P

I shouldn't complain, since most of the promotions are US-based, but I wish they'd put rare item codes in the cereal here. It'd be nice to get a code from something I buy anyway.

I wish I could afford/wanted to buy some sort of item that had one of the rare item codes on them. I really don't feel the urge to buy one of the little plushies from some hectic/awful store

...and I don't live in Canada so I can't do the cereal [which I would].

I went out and bought some Lucky Charms. My mom got slightly mad at me because we still had cereal, but tis' all good. :P

You have won a 'Wooden Display Pillar' and 331 Neopoints! Check your inventory to see your new item!

Kind of dissappointing, but I like lucky charms, so it doesn't matter. :3

It also appears that you can collect treasure maps. :O I've gotten two so far, one from going on the link, another for going on the "feed my pets" page. There are 12 in total, I'll try to figure some more out tonight. :)

Urgh!! I HATE today tonight and all those types of news! They are soooooo URGHH!!! I don't consider them "news". News is the stuff you watch with the weather reports and stuff. Plus, Naomi Robson smurf me off. Grrr.. Get a new anchorlady, channel 7!!

I can't believe you don't shorten McDonalds to Maccas!!! *is blown off her feet* and tht the promotions ended. Pity, because the plushies were ALWAYS sold out. Except for the ugly ones.

Do you have to use a Prize Code to start getting map pieces?
I don't live in Canada, so I changed my country to play Sultan's Quest, but I haven't found a single piece yet.

Does anyone know if the Neopets crunch or whatever the cereal is called is still being sold in the US somewhere? I haven't seen it anywhere.
