Honestly, I think the Orange Jetsam looks a little less orange and a little more off-brown. :\

The Darigan Korbat isn't that bad. The less angular cheeks make it look les evil, but at least there's no chance of mistaking it for some cheek-diseased Korbat. It looked a little odd to me, the original. I like how they tried to make it more Darigan-colored, more similar to the other purple Darigan pets.

Yuck. Too chubby for me! Couldn't they just change the colour and not the shape?

BTW, just abit off topic, what species of Neopet is Lord Darigan meant to be? Korbat?
Kass is obviously a Darigan Eyrie! At least IMO...

You find yourself high in the mist-carved mountains of Shenkuu, wandering along its curved bridges and exotic architecture. Wanting to take a piece of this amazing landscape back to Neopia Central with you, you duck into the shop known as Wonderous Weaponry. There, among the gleaming sai and chakrams, you find a small deck of cards hidden on a high shelf and covered with a thick layer of dust. The cards are beautifully painted, depicting various lands and beings from Neopia.



When you ask the Shoyru shopkeeper why there are cards in a weaponry shop, he just smiles mysteriously and tells you that strategy is what wins battles, not weapons. He then deals the cards onto a table. You watch as he matches cards and captures the resulting pairs. After following his actions, you collect more cards than he does...yet your feeling of triumph is dashed when he announces himself the winner. Smiling at your shock, he tells you that while the game (which he calls Godori) is easy to play, it is difficult to win. As he deals a new hand, the Shoyru begins to explain the rules...

Darigan has never been specificed with a species. In a couple editorials they say he's Korbat-like, but never say that he is exactly.



His cards from the TCG reflect that (although he is refered to as a "Bat-Thing" in the early BFM plot.)

Is this a pet pet? Or is it a new pet? I wouldn't mind seeing a stork-like pet or petpet. If it were a pet, they could make it come in a lot of colors like desert, that would be like an egyptian stork. The lenny and pteri might get jealous though.

And hey, why'd they go and mess up the Darigan Korbat? At the very least, they could've kept the definition in the face, that really gave it character. Now it's all chubby and baby-faced again. Why? WHY?

It's disappointing that they made the Korbat a little chubbier, though I will admit it looks more like a Korbat now and not like a mini-Lord Darigan. I do like the darker purple, since it matches the rest of the Darigan pets. I still like it.

PS: I always thought of Lord Darigan sort of like Sloth - they're not really neopets...they're just...there...

Its really cute ^^

It is pretty cute, even if the eyes are a little freaky (they're huge! and black! and looking at me!). The top of its head and its feet look a little melted, actually. It's the texture thing that makes it so, methinks.
