...and visiting the status page doesn't work, un-equip and re-equip a weapon, or feed your pet. This will unstick you.

(Sorry about this, mods, but this question gets asked over and over and over, often just two or three posts after it was answered the last time, and it's driving us all insane.)

That does make me feel better! :) I know a lot of people already know the trick, or actually bother to read all the posts in a thread and therefore come across the solution without having to ask, but a lot of other people... don't. ;)

i actually never knew that trick. i never got stuck in a battle before :D until this plot and all the lagging :(

Oh I know, I didn't beat anyone so far, and it's already the 2nd wave. My computer freezes up or slows down due to lag and rarely loads at all.

Sorry, but no. Unless you saved the url, there is no way to return to a battle once a window has been closed. A big thing to kinow if you're trying to beat Punchbag Bob for the first time ;)

I knew the food part... subconciously.

Thing is, it happens so rarely and so greatly annoys me when it happens, that I choose to forget about it afterwards :)

It didn't help me. What I did just now was giving my pet a potion (he had 0 hp, but Water Faerie kept saying that he's in the fight).

You should not have gotten that message if, like Cran says, you visited the Status Page first. If you still do, refresh the Status page and make sure your cookies are cleared. It might have just been lag or your browser.
