Errr...for the spectral essence.... someone mentioned a few pages ago that we need not do anything to the leafy Slorgblossom, other than combining them with the others...

For Composite 3:

I recommend using 3g Bronze Sansam to get just under the value of the third property...

Then use 3g Babaa Wool to lower the value of the lower property...

Then use 3g Crushed Jurpleberries to fine tune the numbers...

Finally add 3g of any other ingredient unprocessed.

(Remember to divide/multiply values by 4 and stuff.)
(It helps to use a spreadsheet program such as excel for this)

About the spectral essence: you don't have to do anything to the leafy thing but make it a composite. Someone else said it earlier, and it worked for me, so :)

shortstuff wrote:For those who are still stuck on the Spectral Essence, here's the quickest, least painful way I can find.

For the 25 gram one in step 3:

Take out 5 grams of Slorgblossom. Use it to create a new composite. (You don't have to do anything to it.)
Take out 4 lots of 5 grams of Bloodfern. Start crushing each of them. Find something else to do for 5 minutes...
When that's maxed out, start soaking them. Find something else to do for 7 1/2 minutes...
After they've maxed out on that, add them to the composite that you've started to create the 25 grams of Spectral Essence.

oh btw... my last one was

Quantity: 12 grams
Relevant prop: Enchantment
Target: +81 +/- 3
Relevant prop: Divination
Target: +78 +/- 3

and i used.....

3g Crushed Jurple ----> Burn & Soak (max on both)
3g Baggus Pulp -------> Burn (max)
3g Sharpgrass --------> Crush (max)
3g Bumroot -----------> Burn & Crush & Soak (max on all)

it ended up +83 Enchantment and +75 Divination.. :) just in case anyone needs it

I woke up this morning hoping for a hint on this goo we have to make. Sadly not. Hopefully we get one later, if someone doesn't solve it before that.

Maybe this page will help

hmm, maybe if we can get all attributes as low as possible, it would make sense, the spec essence is just about the positive max maybe the goo is close to the negative max

Ok, so after summarizing this data I believe that the colors are probably not that important. But I could be wrong. I got most of the data from http://petpages.neopets.com/~Elhaz_Thorn
http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a174/ ... Colors.jpg
I added in some more data and know we have a nice comprehensive chart. That doesn't really seem to tell me anything. All well, I'm off to bed. I hope someone can figure the goo out before I'm done working. :)

Oh, I am so mad! Got my second composite for stage 3 and went to bed (late of course) and now this morning it has been tossed into the cauldron, and not by me! Always before things were just the same when I came back. Anyone else have this problem? Grr! :(

I need help :/

Composite #2:

Quantity: 12 grams
Relevant property: Enchantment
Target value: +81 +/- 3
Relevant property: Conjuring
Target value: +79 +/- 3

I've come close to having the right numbers a few times, but I've been out by five every time. :/ Can anyone help me with this?

You realise that doing ANYTHING to your Babaa could result in a large anti-magical void...

Don't ever wet/dry/burn/squash your babaa again...

Oh? Maybe you didn't stay in the maximum ingredient weight for Composite 2? The max one item can have is 3grams at that stage. If one of your ingredients is 4grams or more, it'll be wrong, I suppose.

I'm pretty sure that I did keep to the 3g each, but I'll try again. Thanks.
