If you are, I only use the cheapest lodgings (and I'm sure that's what I used this time last year), so don't bother paying full price on the off-chance you'll get the sidebar.

My personal thoughts are that it will be a Winter related activity. We are trying for a Winter Sidebar, so activities/requirement are going to be related to that and not some obscure random activity.

Having snowballs/snowflakes in inventory, shop and giving them away (as in having a snowball fight) is my favourite idea.

I have already snowballed some guild members but will send some more out on Christmas Day.

I have been playing Winter games (Snow Wars is good game as you get snowballs as a prize).

I got some snowballs just in case it helped at all . Most likely I'll see if anyone who has gotten the sidebar posted here to say what they did. Neopets said it would be available all day on the 31st, so I'll wait

I have a question. Can you try more than once? Or do you just put whatever in your inventory or do whatever you need to do? And then go once and get your prize? I mean, if you get your prize and you don't see that you won the sidebar, is that it? Or can you do something else and go back to that page and get the sidebar? Can you try more than once or just when you get your prize?

So, did anybody collect the sidebar today?

It'll be available Dec 31st. Hopefully by the end of that day we'll finally know what the requirements are.

Okay, thanks. For some reason, I thought it was today.

after some hasing with my guildies we've come to the hope it might involve maybe sending a winter/holiday neogreeting, so we've tried that as well as got some icy snowflakes as well. any other hopeful ideas? we'll be finding out in only a few short more days

Perhaps the sidebar is given to people who show the spirit of Christmas by donating items to the money tree?

I know that it absolutely does not have to do with the icy snowflake avatar or neogreeting. My mom didn't have the avatar and she's sure that she didn't send a neogreeting.
