my favorite of all time is Starcraft followed by all the Sonic Games and SimCity 4..

The Metal Gear Solid series. Nothing beats it when it comes to story-telling IMO. And the gameplay is nothing to poke a stick at either.

Even Final Fantasy, the champion of stories, doesn't compare to the impact you get after playing a Metal Gear Solid game and really getting into it.

Both are great series though, and I love em both. Jak II and Jak 3 are also on my faves
