Same here, sometimes everything works super fast and sometimes it takes 3 minutes for a page to load I think I might have to take a break for awhile

I'm so glad it's not just me! I was having problems with Earthlink's new protection control center, but I'm still having problems with Neopets even after I uninstalled the program. Thanks for posting!

I'm so glad I'm not the only one encountering the lag today. This morning was unbearable. Every other page had to be refreshed at least 10 times before it would load properly. I have just gone back to Neopets after taking a break for a few hours and the very first page had to be refreshed. Why are the weekends always horrible when it comes to Neopets? Maybe they need to start considering weekend staff...

I just noticed that when I turned off the portal for Premium users, Neopets suddenly became a whole lot faster. Perhaps Premium is the problem? Is anyone else experiencing the problems a Premium user?

I've been experiencing the lag for the past hour, and I'm not premium. Morningstar, I hope you get your NP back. I'm afraid to move stuff around now.

I can't even get my portal to come up so that I can turn it off. I forgot that you could even do that.

KCharles, it seems to be only affecting some people. One of my guild members who is premium can't move at all, yet her daughter and husband have no problem moving around the site, and both are non-premium.

And since I mentioned the glitch that hit me last night, three guild members have told me of glitches they had yesterday. One informed me that she didn't get the prize from her TCG card earlier today. And another guild member told me that she lost a painted pet around the same time as my glitch last night--she said that the page refused to refresh. And yet another guild member lost an item worth 300K when she was transferring it to her SDB. Argh! So the glitches are out there. Hopefully, Neopets staff will step up to the plate and reimburse those of us who have lost items and nps.

Its feeling pretty laggy right now for me. Had trouble logging in - the site wouldn't load. Now that I'm finally logged in, pages are either very slow to load or not loading at all.

I'm having some lag problems today too, and I've been fotzing around since 6:30 am NST Sometimes I wonder why I put up with it

That's weird. It's working fine for me now. Last night it was so bad I couldn't load Turmy in time to visit him before he went back to sleep!
