As expected the hoarders have moved in, the lowest now is 69k

And its really hard to try for any from the shop... the gift shop is out of EVERYTHING! I finally have the time to try - and there is nothing to be had. *sigh*

You're not kidding. I've been hanging out in the Gift Shop way too long and have not seen any MVCs today at all.

Well... they *do* tend to sell out quickly. People are hoarding them.

I think that the gift shop is empty, for me, because I tried to hard to get one today (and bought other stuff). I refreshed so many times that the server won't let me see any items. I logged on with my other account to feed my pets there... decided to take a peek... and while my MAIN account says the gift shop is empty my side account showed a full store. With Mysterious Valentines -- 120 of them. They sold out in the time it took me to click on it to buy one. Holy god. You'd think they're going out of fashion.

Wait, now I think I remember what happened last year.

It was ridiculously difficult to get ahold of a MVC from the gift shop last year. The things were disappearing in (literally) the blink of an eye. I vaguely recall whispers of "auto-buyers." And by the time I got onto the trades to look for a card of my own to buy, they were going for several hundred thousand points apiece.

And that's the confuddled memory that made me buy my card for 150k! :roll:

Up untill about 4 hours ago I had no problem buying them at the gift shop.
Since then I have only seen one batch of 200 in there, maybe they are not releasing as many as before ?

I was wondering if something like that might happen - kind of like when the shop wizard kicks you out for a while. I'm not at that point (yet) because I can see the usual items. Sadly I know them all by heart now (no pun intended), but haven't seen any MVCs all day today.

Thanks to you, I just went back and checked stock. There were 160 of 'em and I managed to snag one.

I managed to buy one yesterday and plan to hang onto it to use on 2/14, since I don't have the sidebar yet. I will probably sell this one at going rate to boost my bank account now. If I can get actually buy more, then I'll hang on to them to sell later when the price goes up.

I want to buy atleast one more in case my luck sucks and sending it doesn't get me the sidebar. How often does the gift shop restock? I tried a couple different times, like on the 6th minute and 10th minute...or is it random? It seemed to faithfully restock every half hour though.

Do the cards just let you use the sidebar or do they give you something else aswell?

Its completely random and the cards are not restocking everytime the shop restocks.

You get the sidebar and the person you send the card to gets the sidebar, provided neither of you have it.

Not sure if this is the right place to mention this, but I don't see anywhere else, so: If anyone is looking for someone to "share" an MVC, I'd love to only pay half-price. Otherwise, I'll send it to my side, I guess. If you're interested, PM me on here and we'll work out a plan.

They are getting cheaper and cheaper, got 2 for 55k each

I'll wait for a few months, and sell the one I have left for a profit.
