Black pens are da bomb - except for when you screw up. But I usually don't on stuff that matters, so it's all good. Mechanical pencils are a close second - I like not having to sharpen my pencil every day :P

Blue pens are my favorite, but I'm not too picky about the color if it's very comfortable to write with.

Black pen. All the time. Anywhere and everywhere.

I even draw things that I'm supposed to be drawing with a pencil with my black pen. Yeah, I get in trouble for that. Apparently, my black pen could never match the "neatness" of an average pencil. Psh.

Definitely black pen. Pencils rub off too easily

Pencil all the way. I <3 pencils. I like the way they are not too smooth when you write and you have a bit more control. :) Plus, they are easily erased. ;)

Preferrably black pens or mechanical pencils. They put up resistance when you chew on them, unlike wooden pencils, which just can be gnawed through. And I don't care whether I'm using pen or pencil; pen can be scratched out just as easily as pencil can be erased. It makes the work look a lot sloppier, but it probably was never neat in the first place...
