Okay, okay...in all seriousness, I do like the artwork for the gifts and the chocolates. And Officer, it's not just you - I just looked at that shop blog and someone messed up the lines big time on the Altachuck's paws and around its head. They're way too thick. It also needs to be fluffier-looking, and the shading around the eyes is kind of wonky. Shame, as the rest of the blog's just fine. Guess there was a rush to finish it, or something. =\

I won't claim to be an artist or an art expert... but I kinda like the Altachuck. It goes very well with my checkered lupe.

So, it's not a new sidebar for Valentine's Day; everyone automatically gets it today as a one-day deal (unless you send the MVC, that is!)

From the news: As the news is released a day early, that paragraph has confused a lot of people. The date of the news is for the 14th - meaning that the sidebar you see on the 14th is the Valentine's Day sidebar, but if you unlock it, you can keep it.

Now that it is the 14th, hopefully the confusion has been sorted out.

Matrinka, sigh_driven already mentioned this, but I wasn't talking about the Altachuck <i>petpet.</i> I was talking about the art on the new shop blog; I thought I made that pretty clear. In fact, the reason I didn't like the shop blog art was because I think the petpet is very cute! Seriously, compare this:

with the one drawn on the shop blog at the very bottom of this page.

See what I mean? That drawing doesn't do the poor little thing justice, does it? But the Altachuck petpet is adoawable. In fact, I want some more Altachuck colors. I'm dying to see what they come up with for Faerie; if it looks good enough, I want to give one to my Acara.

Anyway, hope I made my point a bit clearer this time. Sorry for the overreaction, but being misunderstood drives me crazy.
