Brandon was voted off. :o (it was a rather predictable elimination)

Good to know that Sanjaya was in the bottom three. Not long before he's gone...

(Don't quote this...it's too much scrolling!)

Top 11
Dates: 3/20 & 3/21
Theme: British Invasion
Guest Coach/Performer: Peter Noone (Males), Lulu (Females)
Status: Confirmed by Peter Noone.

Could this mean that Paul McCartney is actually clearing some Beatles songs? Granted, some contestants have done Beatles songs already (Clay - Here, There, and Everywhere, and Taylor - Something (although that's not Paul's song)). I don't know about this though. The songs don't have too much vocal range, but a lot of the contestants are bad or mediocre...so some good songs will probably get butchered. It WOULD be hilarious to see Sanjaya sing "Wannabe" though.

CONFIRMED theme nights:

Top 8
Dates: 4/10 & 4/11
Theme: Latin Songs
Guest Coach/Performer: Jennifer Lopez
Status: Confirmed by Lopez.

Top 7
Dates: 4/17 & 4/18
Theme: Country Songs
Guest Coach/Performer: Martina McBride
Status: Confirmed by McBride on her website.
Additional Information: Martina said on her website that the contestants can choose from "any" country song.

Top 6
Dates: 4/24 & 4/25
Theme: Inspirational Songs
Guest Coach/Performer: Unknown
This is the "Idol Gives Back" special

Other: Tony Bennett will be a performer for one of the theme nights, but it's unknown whether or not he is also a vocal coach, or if it's his theme night.

If Sanjaya lasts that long, I'd like to see him perform "Hips Don't Lie." XD Simon will probably comment on his dancing and say something like "Your hips DO lie."

What ever happened to the girl who Randy asked her to sing Hips Don't Lie anyway.

The inspirational songs...I guarantee atleast one person is gonna sing I Believe I Can Fly. It's like the Idol stereotype.

And remember, they always have atleast one motown night.

Did anyone catch the performance by Sanjaya?

Did you see how the camera went to a shot of a little girl crying while he was singing? I LOL'd.

Omg, my friends and I were crying ourselves because we were laughing so hard. They kept closing in on her. She'll never be able to go to school again.

Haha, I was cracking up too. xD

My mother's like: "Awww, how cute, she's got a little crush!"

And I replied: "Um... yeah, she's been crying the entire show..."

Mother: "Oh... that's just strange"

Haha, I actually enjoyed his performance because of that. I felt bad for laughing so much.

OH MAN. Sanjaya is so scary in that picture. xD

He's like "I'M GONNA EAT YOU!" and she's crying for her life.

What's hilarious is that no one has really mentioned the show at all, because "Crying Girl" stole the spotlight (I swear she got more screen time than some of the singers. :P).

It's just too bad that Sanjaya probably got a boost from that. -_-;

I didn't get to see the show but I had to go get the clip from Youtube. So funny! I could maybe see the little girl hystericaly crying for a much more popular singer, say Justin Timberlake, but this guy? too much!

Wow, that little girl was great.

All the songs I was either like I've never heard this before or "Wait, that's British"?

Melinda was the best as usual, though her new haircut makes her look way too much like Bailey from Grey's Anatomy.

What the heck was Sanjaya doing last night, OMG? I sorta liked it? I don't think he'll go tonight for some reason.

Not sure who I would want to go, probably Sanjaya or Haley.

I predict bottom three to be:

Sanjaya
Haley
Phil

Haley or Phil going, I'm not sure.

That girl needs to get a serious grip on reality, especially if it's focusing around that hobbit Sanjaya.

Kick him out America!
