I have spent the last two hours trying to find the solution, but no luck, sorry, LaraLeigh. I hope that someone else can help.

Found the solution, Nerdie!

Since we are only allowed to give three pieces, here they are:

The mop with the head on the left and down is placed along the top and against the left margin.

The mop with the head on the right and down is placed beside it along the top.

The vertical mop is placed three squares to the left of the right margin, with the top of the handle just below the beginning of the handle of the second horizontal mop.

Meer wrote: more than just some harder puzzles, I would prefer the puzzles to be... more involved. I don't know how to explain it, it's just something about how the puzzles are presented, I think I just kinda liked the "feel" of Tale of Woe better.

Do you mean you prefer a bit more of an interactive feel? TOW was pretty neat because we sort of played Gilly as a character.

Err...sorry for butting in...but I'm just curious....

If you haven't finished the first puzzle, then where would the 'to the puzzle' button link you to?

um... to the puzzle... :)

i dont understand... can sum one just help me.. im stuck on this puzzle

Ok I'm going to give you a 3 piece hint. The mop and bucket you have in the upper left corner is correct. Next, place a sandbag directly to it's right at the top. Directly underneath the sandbag the horizontal box that is 3 wide by one high is also correct. You should be able to solve it from there.

honestly i still cant get it :(

I wish someone could solve LauraLeigh's puzzle above. I've spent hours on it. Of course I am using pen and paper, so it may be a bit more difficult. But I just can't get it. I've spent so much time on it that I'd like to know the answer for my own information now. o_O :)

I did the third part of the puzzle, with the rings and symbols. I clicked on the Clean the Deck link, and I'm on the second part of that. Ack, my brain. >.>

EDIT: I'm on the third part now; can someone help me a little?

My Objects
Two square boxes

An upside-down anchor

Three long, skinny boxes

One horizontal box

One horizontal sandbag

A pack of ropes facing the left like this: _|

A pack of ropes facing the right like this: |_

And a mop slanting this way: \

Heydog, I solved yours, but differently than the hint you were given.

The vertical mop with the head to the lower left gets placed against the right hand wall at the top.

The vertical mop with the head to the upper right gets placed along the top of the grid the third and fourth squares from the left. (The handle of the mop is in the third column, the head is in the fourth column.)

Come down the left side of the grid to the third square, put there the zig-zag piece that goes from left to right one square, then down a square, then to the right a square.

I've picked the hardest pieces to give you since we are only allowed to give three pieces. I hope you are able to get it now.

Padlock puzzle

#133 Post by SilllyTigger »

I've solved the padlock puzzle...refreshed my page, went back to the comic, went back to the journal but I still can't get to the deck puzzle. Am I doing something wrong or just missing something?

Thanks for any help you can give me!
