I was kinda hoping that when the giant petpetpet attacked, there would be another battle. But I guess not. Ah well.

but there is a new battle

kinda easy, at least for me (guess it would depend on your pets level).
i just used the extra snowballs i had laying around, and that caustic poition helped a bit.

EDIT: after the 3rd battle, snowballs don't work as well. im just going to try for 5 wins this time

ive got 160HP, and fully equipped with Purple Blob Potions, i can kill it, but it now takes me down to 10HP

And his base difficulty is 75. Aggh. I'm not trained up enough for this! sure, my Usul is level 52... but her max health is only 17. *sigh* So much for getting max plot points. Whatever happened to baby steps to difficult challengers?

I'm *really* going to need some help with this one if I want to survive. I tried once and he spanked me in 3 turns. I tried the same strategy as with the last petpetpet. Defend with my Geraptiku Talisman and a WarWarrior's Rectangular Shield.

Hmm, I guess I didn't do something right or it hadn't loaded correctly when I checked it or something, because I checked it right before that post and all I got were the regular challengers.

But whee! New challenger! ^^ Let's see how well I do against this one. =/

I'm guessing it would be a bad idea to go into battle with this Moach when my pet's never been in a battle before and is only at level 14, huh?

probably that's all I'm going to be able to do..

My pet's at lvl. 12 and health is at 13. Can't survive one shot. Guess that's to be expected though.

Oh well. I've always kinda wanted a battle pet, guess now would be as good a time as any to start training.

I've beaten it 15 times so far. It's hp goes up really fast. Well it seems fast to me. I believe it increases by 8hp each time you win.

So I challenged him anyway and failed on the first try. Jeez, why is he allowed to make four moves at once?

And then at the end they announced him the winner, with "Hahahaha!" written underneath. Mean!

try blocking his icons, by the way they are all earth icons so maybe a leaf shield?

Pretty big jump between difficulties. Maybe they'll backtrack and let a few more newbie battlers have a shot later on. Ive beaten this Moach 10 times, and may be able to get to 15, but thats about it.

I liked how they had sets of challengers in the Tale of Woe. It doesnt fit with this plot right now, but maybe in the future, they'll be more bugs or evil things at once, and with varying levels of difficulty.

I'm not sure how many other times I'll fight, tho. I think I lost like 100hp just this time o.o;;;;. I need some new weapons... it's a shame I only have about 100k now, which I plan to keep wasting in training my wocky, XP

Well I think I've maxed out at 23 wins. The best I seem to be able to do now is draw. The moach was doing about 130+ damage to me a round. Yikes.

I'm glad my pet gained the 85 boosts between the last challenger and this one. XD

I've managed to top out at 23 too. He started doing some serious damage with roughly 150 every hit. I battle with a lab pet, 380 hps. Two or three hits and I'm done for.
