I need tips!!!! I am currently trying really hard, but the pieces cost SO much NP in the shop wiz, and the trading post are asking for like... 100k! Can you guys give me some tips, please!!!!!

Well, the only way to get the pieces is to either buy them on the shop wiz or trading post. Or to hope for a random event that gives you a piece of the map. Keep playing games and doing your freebies to make some nps. And save up for each piece.

Yep, I forgot about the auctions. That's a great place to find them as well. Best thing to do is make print out a page of the entire map, go through the shop wiz and figure out the approximate price of each piece. Because each piece sells for a different price. In general, the sponsor games give out more neopoints than regular games.

I did mine entirely through the shop wizard. I found the trading post to be a rip off in the end, as I saved about 200k of what the trading post was asking for a full set. I learned that through the nice folks here in the help section! It is tedious because searching the shop wizard for the map could bring up any piece, but if you are persistent about it, you will find deals. I got most of my pieces for 10-20k below the average asking cost. Just keep trying, and keep playing games for the cash.

Honestly, Dice-A-Roo is a big one for me. Its not flash so you are getting a lot of Random event chances for things like codestones, other map pieces, as well as the food you can sell from the game.

My map was free On average I get a piece once every 6 weeks, just got another piece yesterday.

I just got the map today, and I found out I paid about 7k extra. Oh well.
I saved up my map (2.34 mil), bought 4 pieces down to 2.01 mil (I had 5 already, storing those maps works quite well).
I used the shop wizard, and one piece I managed to get was 7.5k (orig. 44k)

after playing on and off for about 4 years i have all but 2 of the map pieces and all of petpet map pieces. doubles of several. haven't bought any. (for random fyi)

You can just wait. Or you can invest in the stock market, which is always an awesome alternative to making money the normal way.

Stock market is easy NP. Thankfully, I bought mine when they were cheaper (around 500k a few years back). Wait if you want to. (I learned the good of waiting with the petpet lab when I bought all the pieces for 300k the first day they were out)
