Looks like the cup has started! Whee!

Looks like Shenkuu replaced Kreludor.

Very cool: I joined Team Shenkuu. Once you join a team, you can NOT change this year. However... you get a team backgroud in your closet! I think ALL teams get a background in the closet... but I only know about Shenkuu for sure.

Mer. I kinda liked Kreludor...even though I'd wanted to play for Altador.

Interesting way they've done it this year, though, with the competitions going on during the week.
I wonder if we don't make the top 4 teams if we'll be allowed to switch to one of them like last year?

I like that they're going to include other games this year. *is almost entirely hopeless at Yooyuball*

I picked Roo Island, I think they are underdogs, so of course I leaned that way. When I signed up it did say no switching is allowed this year, unlike last year.

I wasn't here last year when the first tournament took place. Does it matter what team you join? I have a tendency to choose the shield I like rather than the team itself lol What IS this Altador Cup thing anyway?

Altador cup is a football (American soccer) type like game. The Cup is actually a huge tournament that teams match up against each other during. The different teams respond *slightly* differently (some are quicker, others slower, etc).

On a side note, has anyone tried the game? Some of the new balls are tricky. And boy, is the clockwork ball interesting! I've also noticed that they've updated some of the graphics a bit - fire, snow, and faerie all have "tails", and the images they show when a goal is scored change - between showing different players (not always the same one!) and a cute animation of the different yooyus cheering.

Humm I not sure but i'm leaning towards Lost Desert because they have a Schorcho and a Draik what more could a dragon lover want? Also where can i find the nifty 'sets' for the board that i see made *bats eyelashes cutely* I'd luv to show my support

*edit* Also wondering about the support or play this year. I supported last year which was hard :( this year supporters will have games too tho... and I think i'd be better at them then actually playing.... ee I dont know

*edit edit* It was the cup we could support in right? I'm confusing myself cause now im wondering if it was a plot deal... I just remember taking a 'support' role at some point and it not being a very good choice

What do you mean, 'no Kreludor'?!

Oh well, Shenkuu does look really promising. I guess I'll try them.

Well, if anyone wishes to support a true underdog, may I recommend Tyrannia? It's not the most popular of lands, there's nothing flashy about the players, and last year we were one of the teams ousted in the first round. So if you're looking for an underdog, you couldn't do any better than to support Tyrannia. :D

Joined Maraqua... for no other reason than I like the shield lol. We also have a fat koi on the team! :) Might be the Shenkuu koi's twin! :)

I'm in the process of checking everything out for this year and I'm thinking of supporting Darigan again :) I'm hoping to actually participate this year. Last year, I couldn't play the game at all...I was so terrible at it.

Clockwork - A wind-up robotic Yooyu toy that will explode within 10 or 15 seconds if it isn't put into a goal.

This Yooyu explodes almost as soon as the game play starts... I think they forgot to take into account that the clock keeps ticking when they show the the Yooyu being launched.

Also, what's the key to send all the players back to their default position?
