I think it's on par with the logo that got onto BBC's alternative display and set the internet on fire with roffles.

In other words, ew. I would say hit it with something large and heavy, but the designers beat me to it. All that's left to do I suppose is kill it with fire.

It seems to perfectly capture and convey the spirit, energy and unity of countries of the Olympics. The sharp-edge aspect reveals the competition between countries, and the font for the word 'london' brings the logo into the 21st century.

I hate this logo. It looks like it just jumped out of the opening of 'Saved By The Bell'.
Although the Metro (the funniest newspaper in the UK) did make a valid point; shuffle the pieces around a bit and you have K9 looking at some ducks!

The ugly magenta shade reminds me of nothing about the Olympics. The sharp shapes barely look like numbers. And that font is a total disaster!

Still, I'd like to go see an event there in 2012. Not particularly choosy which.

The logo's just ridiculous and...a weird shade of pink, like puppet sickness or something.

They acurately represented the shape of someone who failed to get into the Olympics because they broke their legs pole vaulting.

As in, it's ugly.

I opened this thread and laughed so hard my mom was like "what's so funny." I showed her, and she started laughing to. In short, this is one of the ugliest logos I've ever seen...it must drive good artists crazy because people get paid to make that yet most graphic artists are usually broke...
