*cough*

Ermm, appears the site probably doesn't (nor ever has had) a cooke grabber on it. Blame TDG for his lack of knowledge about anything  Still pays to change your password if you feel you're in danger.

Please note, a scammer is now attempting to PM people scam links. Be wary of anybody offering links to you or promising free Neopoints. Remember, there are no ways of getting rich quick on Neopets. If you don't have to put some effort into it, its probably a scam

It really is such a shame that there is a person out there who just want to ruin someone else just for points. I've only ever been scammed once and that was with my old account. I've learnt alot from the experience and I am SO wary of links to neopets.

I just got a neomail promising millions of np, and to reply back if I wanted them. I replied back, intending to catch them in the act, but I just decided to block them. The user was 2 weeks old, and had an unpainted, non-LE pet, so obviously it was a scam. Sad how people do this kind of thing

I found a great extension for Firefox that can check links and files for viruses...it's called the Dr. Web Anti-Virus Link Checker. You just right click on the link and there is an option to scan for viruses. Very useful, as I just found out.

Could this be the virus that I think I may have on my computer? I ahve been on heree tons and my dad keeps getting the blue screen (which means there is a nasty error) When he tries to shut the computer off.

Shouldn't be, as this topic is over 6 months old :)

I recommend doing a virus and spyware scan on your computer.
