Wow, TNT is having fun (I assume) drawing out the suspense. It's almost 8pm EST and the news still hasn't been posted. :P I'm on pins and needles awaiting the results!

I'm going crazy waiting to see who won. The only thing that kinda sucks is that I ended up joining the tournament pretty much on the last week. I still managed to get to rank 2, but I had to play like a maniac for a little while and I did just get tired of playing.

Yeah, I saw that. I mean, normally they'd just say they were tallying the results but this time there was no mention what so ever. And it also says that it was the news for tomorrow.

Hmmn... I guess this is why I shouldn't assume things about TNT. :D That little graphic of the cup over July 9 really fooled me. I just assumed that it meant we'd find out who actually won. Ahh, well... more suspense makes it more fun? I'll keep telling myself that, at least. :D

I'm very disappointed that TNT updated the news but didn't mention the cup. I was really hoping we'd find out today. Maybe they need time to figure out who won what place, so they'll update it tomorrow? :(

Maybe. They could've at least mentioned something about the cup though. Unless they really don't know how long it will take to tally everyones scores.

Grrr, like everyone else I was hoping they would release the final scores in the news today. Shouldn't take that long to tally everything, considering the daily matches were always tallied up very quickly. But then again, this is TNT we're talking about. XD

However I did find it interesting that they mentioned fixing a but with the Great Desert Race game. TNT posting in the news about a bug! Hell must have frozen over! :o

(sorry that last bit was OT, but since the daily news isn't posted in general chat anymore, I miss being able to comment on it. >.<)

Winners were announced. Darigan won, but you'll have to go to the AC news to see it.

I couldn't be happier. Now I don't have to play Yooyuball for hours on end anymore!

You said it...!! I STINK at games. I feel like I went a little crazy playing Yooyuball, but I eventually ended up with Rank 2.

... 2!

That's WAY better than I imagined I would do, seriously. I thought I would give up after the first few horrible failures... then the next 100 horrible failures... etc. But I actually accomplished something. It's a weird feeling to not be the bottom of the barrel on an action game, even if it's still a pretty low level. I am proud of myself! Though I bow and grovel at the feet of those of you who got crazy ranks. I can't imagine being that competent or patient. Unbelievable!!!!

I know I would have gotten a better rank if I actually started playing when the tournament started. Because I played last year and I was pretty good at Yooyuball and I just got better this year. Though, I never scored higher than 9 points. But I'm still darn proud. I can't wait to see what the trophies are gonna look like.

The one thing about Neopets that has only gotten better is the art. Granted, the Shenkuu captain looks nothing like a Gnorbu, the Roo Island captain kind of reminds me of overcooked pasta(because of his droopyness), and the Darigan captain has some random gothic prom-like sheer stuff under his wings/arms, but I really do love the art on the "winners picture."
Congratulations to Shenkuu members for beating the once-first Krawk Island. To the KIers, sorry about the members who dragged you down by being jerks on the AC chat instead of scoring points for your team. And Roo Island, you were a more-than-worthy foe. This really could've gone either way, but I guess Darigan had more crazy players scoring 500 goals every day(which I do not condone, owing to the risk of carpal tunnel and general insanity).
And to everyone: YAY IT'S OVER AND WE DON'T HAVE TO PLAY IT AGAIN for another year.
