They're just getting worse and worse, too...

How about that one for the air freshener thing, with the kid on the toilet...can't even remember what it's for.

Airwick innit?

Glade, actually.

"Be Kelly-four-knee-yan. Buy Kelly-four-knee-yah grown."

"For less car insurance rates in town, call 1-800-General now!"

I remember seeing that commercial at least ten years ago, and they brought it back! It needs to die.

That advert makes me want to end it all... for them!

That one...

They advertise UK gold or something now as well.
The rage it causes is not expressible by words.

I can't stand the advert! The advert is so sexist!

Well TECHNICALLY the facts stand behind them. Statistically, men are more likely to be involved in a car accident than women.

2 other adverts annoy me besides the one I mentioned.

The Crazy Frog one (which annoyed a lot of people) and the Jabberjaw Plate Collection (which was a pointless advert on Cartoon Network in the UK during 1998 that was narrated by Tom Baker and was about ordering you own Jabberjaw plate collection) though the item didn't exist.

They have a music video out now.
I nearly choked with rage. Then turned over but still.

So, you're saying there are ads that aren't annoying in this country? o_O

I should try to go back to watching TV more often. Huzzah.

I have a friend who avoids television altogether between late September and early November. The election commercials have gotten THAT negative and annoying. Three years ago, you couldn't turn on the television here around election time without hearing the words "liberal agenda," spoken the way Dateline says "internet predator" or most people say "Nazi Germany." I never did figure out what was so bad about a liberal agenda--particularly since our state(which takes the Republican side in federal matters) has a strong Democrat side in state government.

Only because women know they can't drive so they don't try to.

We have a guy here named Jim Adler: The Texas Hammer. Every lawyer in the state has "Texas" somewhere in their name. Our car dealers speak in fake Houston drawls and our pickup truck commercials have the same John Mellencamp song playing over and over again.

Wait, so by that logic, wouldn't men be delusional to believe they CAN drive?
