New Information

JellyNeo has just relesed some news that indicates that March will be the release for a online multiuser game called "KeyQuest".



So that still leaves a plot and/or the pound for end of January.

Probably plot for January. If it was the pound, I'm sure TNT wouldn't be able to resist throwing a clue in here or there. I'm also skeptical about the pound because Kym said a pregnant whale sat on it and it will never come back.

KeyQuest seems familiar for some reason though...

KeyQuest is based off this reeeeeaaaaalllllyyyyyy old thing on Neopets that was around even before I joined! I know some really old users' pets have trophies from it, like hrobi. I honestly don't know that much about it...but...this is wicked cool!

It does seem similar, doesn't it? I feel a little uncertain about the Keyquest thing. What exactly are they saying? That in order to participate in the really cool stuff, we need to buy merchandise? I'd rather just play regular Neopets. Will be keeping my eye on this though...as the Head Admin of the NeoDex, I have to.

That's kinda how I feel - very uncertain and watching to see how it pans out. There was some bit about possibly winning tokens from site events.
But I'm glad there'll be some new merchandise out at Target - I've been wanting to get *something* new to add to my collection.

I guess this means the "march" event is not another Daily Dare. So I'm still hopin' for plot and pound!

Yay, we got a new plot.

But, seriously, I was looking at the Faerieland maps today and it is quite possibly the most outdated, flat looking art on the site. It really needs to be updated and a plot/mini-plot is probably the best way of going about it.

In terms of updating the maps, it's the Space Station that needs the most. Faerieland look more like the rest of the maps than Space Station. Far as I can tell, the design hasn't changed since the end of "Arrival of Virtupets". That's 8 years we are talking about. Thank the lord for this new plot, because a change may be done.

Anyone willing to help out with The Return of Dr. Sloth article construction? Will put a news posting up eventually, but I just thought I'd make mention here first. If you don't wish to help with the daily upkeep with the new plot, you can at least have a look at all the older information that was released before this official plot. Something to consider...
