Daily Dare tips - Post 'em here!

#1 Post by Katdragon »

Hey guys
Thought this might be useful for the daily dares - hints, tips, cheats etc. I'm still to get meepit juice and itchy invasion but I can contribute the following. I'll put the cheat words in spoiler spaces so that those of you who don't want them, can't get spoilers.

General tip: Don't challenge AAA or Abigail up front - as this will lock you into beating one of them (so if you challenge Abigail but get AAA's score you won't get the credit for it - at least that's what happened last Daily Dare).
First, practice on the game until you get the score you want but DON'T send it.
Go to the daily dare page, click on who you want to challenge and THEN submit.

Wicked Wocky Wobble
Guide: http://www.pinkpt.com/neopets/wicked-wo ... taylor432/
Cheat:
Wocky - Freezes your stack for a second

Meepit Juice Break
Cheat:
Hungrymeepits - extra life
Juice-o-matic - resets all timers to 0

Tips:
--Try and make as many of the pipes connect up in the first few levels if you have time, but keep it to the colour of the meepit in the tree.
--Try and connect the feeding tubes to all the meepits in the tree at once so you can feed all 3 and not worry about timing out.

Despite this I still can't get that darned juice.

Feel free to add more hints/tips/advice!

By the way, for Meepit Juice Break, it dosen't have to be:
hungrymeepits, just meepits willl work fine.

Small as poss window, turn off animations, and use "ineedmoretime" on one of the higher levels, can give up to 200 secs extra, which turns into a big bonus. Or so I hear - I only made 400 odd.

Anyone know any non-german-language guides to edna's shadow?

EDIT:
Nevermind. You know I had to get my score without knowing you could shoot the enemies? I watched that youtube video and was like, "what the heck is coming from edna's fingertips?"

Turmac Roll,
I think NPT have set the score to beat really high for this one. 600 would've been high enough for me, but I'll keep trying. On one of my goes I started with a aqua berry which gave me 600 points unfortunately I was so excited by this that I ran into a tree stump straight after :( . The only way of reaching over 900 points for me is to play on hard and collect berries with high point value very early on because I never make it over the three tree stumps.

Btw I didn't realise that you have to go over the score of AAA to beat him. A draw doesn't count. I had exactly 600 in the snowball fight yesterday and send my score but I didn't get the prize.

That's the trickiest part of the game. I lucked out and didn't get them in my winning game until after I reached 900 (I got a snidberry to put me over 900, then immediately found an aquaberry, so ended with 1650 or so). I found that the key for the triple stumps is to actually jump a little sooner so you can bounce off the middle one -- I used to bounce off the last one, but it's almost impossible to hit that one right. If you've been aiming for the middle one but are hitting it too soon, try jumping a little later.

Oh, and there's no difference in difficulty, so always play in hard mode!

My method is to jump normal time, but then press back to slow down and drop into the right area, between 2 and 3, or on 2, then jump and push forward to make sure you clear the 3rd stump. I used to try jumping earlier, but it messed up my game :P

a tip for wicked wocky wobble is to make sure you only catch items worth 10+ points.
no use in heightening your pile for a small amount of points

also the codee
wocky

if you catch the petpet on your pile then your pile will stay still for exactly 5 seconds.

Um... is anybody else getting a glitch in Dungeon Dash?

Whenever I make it past Ice Cream Machine, just before I enter Stowaway Sting, my game freezes up. I can still use tools and stuff, but I can't move, the Wocky can't move, and I, rather clearly, can't finish the game.
