An open suggestion to Neopets:
You do not need to wage a war against a 17th-Century European Zeitgeist.

Playing Neoquest I has been interesting. Some of the images are cached, so they load. The others...I get white. It's interesting to try to guess where I am and where I need to go.

Zeitgeist? Man, that's a word I never expected to hear outside of college. No joke, I used to have an art professor who was just in love with that word.

Anyhow...looks like I won't be touching any games or shops on Neo until this is all resolved. Really hope they're not sticking ads into the games permanently. That's too much like what other sites do already (and they look god-awful too), and my word, there's already at *least* three on every page, plus some in loading screens, plus sponsor games, plus sponsored shop areas in Neopia Central. Do they seriously need any more ads?

I won't see them due to Firefox, but it's the principle of the thing.

I got a glitch with the neofriend checker. The checker says that my neofriend has been online for over 10 hours. I thought it was true until I saw several threads in the HC saying that they had neofriends who had been online for over 15 hours!!! Man, who would be online for THAT long??? Anyways, just giving the heads up to everybody.

Meteor isn't working for me. Since yesterday all I get is the screens that you get after you've played already. I cleared cache but no luck.

I ran into that glitch last night; my side kept saying my main was online, and my main kept saying my side was online, even though I'd logged out of both before getting onto the other. That's a fairly common glitch, though, if memory serves.

This glitch has been around for quite a while (I want to say before Christmas). I remember one of my friends being online for like 167 hours or something ridiculous like that.

Welcome to the new Neopets as the "new" sitemasters (Nickelodeon) are going to keep thrusting more and more advertisements down our collective throats. The more advertisements they can cram into every aspect of the site, the better it is for them. It won't be long now before we see Nascar-style wearable clothing that is littered with brand logos.

It seems that TNT is actually doing better on communication these days...

Oh, you know it must be bad if they are actually giving updates and assurances. ;)

Hmmm. When read carefully, it actually implies TNT isn't currently trying, but at some vague point in the near future they might get around to trying to fix things. Somebody needs a grammar lesson... or they've got really messed up priorities.

On some page loads, I get the following at the top of the page:
Quote:
rr: [1] []
rr: [2] []
rr: [3] []
REMOTE_ADDR: [68.219.227.76]
rr: [4] []
rr: [5] []
rr: [6] []
rr: [7] []
rr: [8] []
rr: [9] []
rr: [10] []
rr: [11] []
foobar
That's kind of funny, because "foobar" (usually FUBAR) is an acronym that includes a swear word -- it stands for "fouled up beyond all recognition." The site's definitely been that lately.

Apostraphes aren't working again in the guild message boards...don't know if it goes the same for the Neoboards or not.

Neoboards works for apostrophes and quotes, but guild boards are still plagued with the issue. Sometimes they work in guilds, sometimes they don't. I have gotten in the habit of not using apostrophes at all in guilds to prevent the trouble of having to change them all.
