A remake of Doom 2 with modern tech makes me drool.
The mental image of a lone marine wandering through the deserted streets of Human city X, the wind howling from a hell portal on the horizon while the last vestiges of humanity fight a desperate rearguard against the legions of the Whatever it's name was (The gate keeper was it? I don't recall anything other than its function) is... Way too awesome.
Call Of Duty 4 style squad actions, but against Imps.
AWESOME.
