Wow, it's gonna be close. I wonder if they only give gold out to the top person or not? Cause I'd think that 472 vs 486 is really so close it's ridiculous to give one the gold and the other silver. (I voted *again* )

I'm hoping they award trophies for the CC like they do for other games. Top 3 get gold, next 5 get silver, etc. The official results aren't out yet, but I finished about 15 votes behind the other person, which I'm happy with. Thanks so much to everyone who voted for me.

Congrats. Just out of curiosity, when did you submit your caption? I've entered many times, but they seem to already have the finalists decided by the time I even submit.

Well, it was pretty much at the last second, which is why I was so surprised. I entered mid-afternoon on Thursday, and on Friday I recieved some neomails congratulating me on my Caption.
