Pet RPG! Or something like pokemon. And apparently, Infective Squirrels can't give Talking Cats a squirrel disease. o_O I need to level my Infective Squirrel to 25 if I want it to KO a level 3 Talking Cat. Stat roll time!

Dang, it got only 20 exp but needs 100 to level up.

In case anyone wanted the probabilities of me getting the totals I did, assuming the dice are "fair," here they are:
32767 2-sided dice: 0.1867
32767 3-sided dice: 0.516
32767 4-sided dice: 0.3415
32767 5-sided dice: 0.4278
32767 6-sided dice: 0.3474
32767 7-sided dice: 0.7195
32767 8-sided dice: 0.0447
32767 9-sided dice: 0.0696
32767 10-sided dice: <0.0001
(just to confirm that the 10-sided roll wasn't a complete fluke: )

These p-values would imply that 32,767 is the maximum number of dice for 1- through ~7- sided dice, but that with larger numbers of sides, the maximum number of dice is fewer. I'll leave it to someone else to figure out what the approximate maximum is for the many-sided dice...
[/geek-out session]
(I was studying for a SAS programming quiz, but this was way more fun)

I wonder how much variety this will give.

Edit:
Not too bad. :)

The standard deviation for a 10-sided die is 2.872281323.
Variance=8.25.
Range=[1,10]. :P

I only bothered because I still had the SD calculated from my earlier experiment...
