According to Koramitsu's petpage, it appears that the "special" prize is a random Halloween NCMall item. There is a list of items that have been won so far on the page.

I'm personally holding onto my bags until Halloween....just in case. It'll probably be for nothing, but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

You may only get 1 of each type of bag. So, one meowclops, one meepit, and one spyder. After you've gotten them, they stop showing up.

wow im impressed i got a bag (meowclops) and im on DIALUP this means that they don't just swipe them away if they are on your screen you can get one. nice

i just went back not even 10 minutes later n got the meepit bag that's CRAZY

The bags show up for 1 minute at a time, so if you see one in that minute, you will get it. It is a much better way of doing it as you are not actually competing with anyone else for the bag.

That happened to me once, and I tried again -it wasn't very long later- and got one that time. One time I got a "can't process" notice, and tried again and it worked.

EDIT: GASP! Got the Meepit one, teehee! Just two more to go. I guess being home sick has its advantages.
