I haven't been able to get into a game yet. Hopefully they'll use the results of this test to speed the game up.

Maybe they're testing to see how many people can log in before it crashes completely. I haven't been able to get into a game either. *sigh*

Maybe we'll get a free item just for trying...

Well, I'm about ready to give up. I'm also hoping that attempts count, since this was to test if they can support the number of users trying at once. If not, oh well...so I don't get another gnome, lol
[edit] Well, I got into a game, played about 5 mins, then I got booted. I wonder if that's enough to count?

I did manage to get into a game...Finally...lol Ran really slow at first, but I think people have given up by now because it's running a lot better.

I was able to squeak into a game as well (and i did get double silver keys awarded from it)
But it was a frustrating experience and i ended up needing to borrow a more powerful computer (in addition to trying for half an hour)

But who cares about that -- what's up with the "free rare virtual item"?

I haven't received one or gotten any notification about receiving one. Has anyone else had more luck?

I wouldn't expect it for a little while. They've got a ton of data to sort through most likely and we rarely get special prizes right away anyways.

Yeah, I never got the "rare virtual prize" either...

Oddly enough....the game I played between 5-6 NST, I didn't get double keys, but the one I started just after 6 NST I did (I actually think I got three keys for that one....).

The game is up now. I doubt it was down for long.


The server didn't crash, not even during the testing, or within the 12 hours after (the time I was on and off the game).

It was down for maintenance (the reason why we had the test), and I do believe we are getting a new board soon (probably for Valentines Day), which requires the game to be off line to redo the coding.

They have made a new board:

You always have needed a key. But probably like most people, you have always had a key, so never noticed.

The chest is closed until you get a key, then the lid opens.

Oh... Can't believe I've never run across that before. Happened to me twice today too. XD

Chocolate board is now available (randomly on the Neopian Central board) on the non-beta version.

Winter prizes are gone and in place are "Sweet" prizes.


Two new games are now available in the non-beta version - Poogle Carnival Racing and Flower Frenzy!

I try to play this game as often as I can, as it's great for restocking and earning some serious cash. However, my internet connection is quite slow, so I normally have a lot of trouble connecting to games. Once I'm in, it plays flawlessly, but 4/5 times I can't even enter a game.
