HELP!! Site Page wont load on just my PC

For the last few days I haven't been able to access neopets.com - the address bar looks correct but the page never loads and troubleshooting says the website isn't responding - I've tried firefox and explorer - at first I thought it was the site because I can get onto other web sites fine - but I was able to access my neopets from another computer yesterday so something is up with this one and I don't know what to do.

Any suggestions would be welcomed

It is possible that you have the DNC "virus", or your hosts file is corrupt, but it could be as simple as "neopets.com" is down. Try "www.neopets.com" instead.

If you are familiar with the "ping" command, you can try to ping "www.neopets.com" to see if your computer can get to it.

Note that www.neopets.com is responding, but neopets.com is not.

If you get a "Request timed out" for both, try doing a trace route (tracert)
