We're playing FL today, and their best game is the bonus... Plus they need second this bracket to clinch a berth in the top finals bracket. (But we need second to have a shot at first overall if TNT ever reins in the BV cheaters... or we can maybe super-humanly beat them...)

We took YYB and lost the side games to FL in a close match. After it was over, we were still ahead of them in bracket, so I think the sides were very very close, and maybe we took YYB by a wider amount. The top 3 in our bracket have been swapping back and forth. (Something happened to BV yesterday and their scores dropped... not sure if it's really "fixed" or not since they've made a resurgence... Only time will tell. They do have an ASG as well as the ACG, so... Uphill battle.)

Tyrannia won our bracket! It required Herculean effort, especially over the last two days. FL, BV, and TY were swapping the top 3 spots, so it was neck and neck. Not sure how we pulled it off based on the scores TNT posted, but since TNT has the raw scores, I'm sure they know. There may be an editorial question based on it (if TNT chooses to answer).

Now we have to face not just them, but KL and MI again, who are also tough as nails. I expect the unexpected in this finals bracket. It'll be interesting to see how the points work; we've got a decent lead over the bottom teams, but it's close enough that we probably need the top spot to win the whole thing.

Six of the top Tyrannians (who I know for a fact are all legit players and don't cheat) were iced late yesterday as thanks for our monumental effort to come back from third and clinch the last bracket. I don't know if it was TNT's script going into overdrive or someone from another team trying to sabotage our chances by reporting our players (or maybe it's coincidental and it was hackers trying to access their accounts). Regardless, we're hurting this bracket.

The good news is that we do have a good lead for the finals, and we're rallying the troops and using the freezings to motivate everyone else to play more. The best thank-you for the frozen players' hard work would be a first-place trophy on their user look-ups once they get their accounts back.

Tyrannia was swept by MI yesterday, but we're still in close contention with the other teams. We've already made some inroads today, occasionally moving up from last in our bracket. I expect we'll do better later in the day (and later in the bracket), because that's how we roll.

10 YYB wins, 100 SS games, and 9281 (why the extra 1, I'm not sure) SOSDs.

I will probably go ahead and max out on SOSD today, just because I can, and who knows about tomorrow, but hey, I made it!

The top bracket continues to be extremely close, with teams trading places like little kids trade Pokemon cards. We're in the home stretch now, though, and it'll be interesting to see what happens.
