Well, it did imply she'd already had some training:
I think it was supposed to imply that she only couldn't climb the wall because of the heavy scimitar, and just because she's trained as a soldier, that doesn't necessarily mean she'd be trained to navigate the desert - especially if she had an inclination to run away.

However, the soldiers' armor would be selected to allow them to navigate sand! And how did her father navigate the sand to get to the riverbank? And why didn't she keep moving after she reached the bank instead of just watching him? Very clunky writing.

.....and she escapes on a boat!! Still nothing to do, although the last line in the comic says:
That does sound like an activity is coming.

Wow, a semi-coherent update (except for the part where the captain goes from "oh noes, I must obey people in authority" to "oh, that's the authority figure of the local place? well then let me defy him!" in two seconds).

And I really hope we do get to maneuver the boat - as long as it's not like those obnoxious split-second-timing rings of doom from the last plot!

I'm so confused. What the heck did I just read? And that's the end?! I would go back and read the whole thing from start to finish to try to make sense of it if it weren't so poorly written. That was... Just... If that's it, it's now 100% the worst plot ever and definitely getting my neopies vote for "never speak of this again." Ugh.

I got 14.

I apparently only read 12 on day of release, but got the achievement. I still feel like the plot didn't really end? I mean, it doesn't really explain anything?

It was just... I've seriously read a plot that made more sense written by a first grader. And I'm not even exaggerating AT ALL!

And plots have things for people to do, more than a couple of random annoying badly designed games. Ugh.
