I'm tempted. Sorely tempted. I ended up with 10,200 points, so I could get the stamp and the weapon. I mean, I don't NEED the weapon, but it still makes me giggle.


Oh, yeah, the new shiny trophy is nice, too.

I thought hard about getting two stamps and some of the books, but that Disgruntled Janitors Bucket & Mop was too much fun, so I ended up getting it instead of the second stamp. Stamp went straight into my album. Fun times.

They have not announced a closing date yet. When they do, I'll post here. I just thought I'd give everyone a reminder earlier than the official reminder. I guess I'm being overly cautious still. There was that one year that they didn't remind us, and I hadn't spent my points and lost out.

Thanks for the reminder. I may have lost out a few times. But, for the last couple of years, I played AC only enough to get a participant trophy. Probably 34 to 50 points to spend for the last 2 years... The Disgruntled Janitors Bucket is rather spendy. Good choice.

I do have a bazillion Staff Tourney points, though. Anyone done an analysis on which are the best items to buy?

I'll be doing an analysis at some point, Blue. Maybe this evening if I finish everything else I'm working on before the moon gets home from her trivia night... Tuesday nights are good for this kind of computer project.

For Staff I basically just grabbed the top few prizes and then the plushies that I liked most, then spent the little remaining. I have 34 points left that I can't spend, so...yeah.

Wed May 04, 2022 8:20 pm : They sent out an email announcing sign ups will open on the 26th. They did not designate a time for when the shop would be closing, though. I would guess at least 10 days before, if not more.

May 13:

If you haven't gotten items from the shop already, they just changed one item from a Gift to a Book - the Altador Cup Scrapbook. Only 200 points but ridiculously expensive now.

Oh, I really need to spend those points! I'll have to try to get to it today. Better to spend the points than lose them trying to optimize!

I'm actually a little miffed, because I had plenty of points and WOULD have spent it on one of the now-books. Ah, well.

Well. Started at the most expensive and worked my way down, skipping the plushies. I still have a bunch to spend.
