This is tough. I would definitely not say Christmas, because Christmas P/b's are realllly cheap (you could use one to get your task completed for the tutorial, collect the clothing items, and then dip something else).

Invisible pets are so much fun to customize. Not all of them fully work yet, but they are still fun. Stealthy and Steampunk have fun clothes, but I can tell you from experience that the eyes on a Stealthy Shoyru are...difficult to work with if you have contacts. If you're not messing with contacts and you like them...no problem.

Before I vote: are you going for just clothing items with dips and have a final color in mind, or are you looking at this being a final color?

....I probably put too much thought into this. ;p

After giving this more thought, it will likely be a final color for the Shoyru, even though I am really liking the current camouflage color. The Mycni will likely become a Draik if I manage to complete the week-long quest.

Then again, I could dip the Mynci instead. ugh.

Awww, poor Mynci! I remember discovering there was a pronunciation guide several years after I'd started playing, discovering it wasn't "MINKee" (like monkey but with a long I instead of an O) but rather "MINCE-ee" (which does make sense with the spelling, but is weird). In my head, I still stubbornly say MINKee.

Anyway... This is my ranking (best first), though I recommend painting for whatever clothes you'd like first.

Water
Stealthy
Eventide
Invisible
Christmas
Steampunk

Blue graffitied on my signature... But it made me laugh, so it's all good!

Thanks to all who provided thoughtful input!

After much consideration (and finding out that the voting poll feature seems to be broken...), I shall not be dipping my Shoyru after all.

I thought I needed to dip my pet in the Rainbow Fountain to complete the quest. Turns out, I just needed to paint it with a brush at the Rainbow POOL. Yeah. It's been a while since I used a Neopet Paint Brush.

Fortunately, someone pointed that out to me before I dipped my pet and wasted the dip.

Yeah, the poor Min-See will become Draik soon. IIRC, she was not always a Mynci, but I do not remember what she was before. I changed her to Mynci just o dip her into Elderly to get the mug. It is the only way to get the Eldery Mug. Sadly, it cannot leave the closet to get into my gallery. And, either the customizer is broken, or it can only be held by the Mynci when freshly painted (or dipped) because I cannot seem to put it back on her little paw.
