Stocking Stufftacular: Holiday Present Playing Petpets Foreground

Sooooooo I admit to being surprised that they actually gave out the Candychan stamp. Last year it was SSS, and Snowbunny is available through weekly prizes, so those are the big three for that album...or at least used to be the big three. A LOT of people completed the album today.
...on the other hand, my extra Negg Faerie Stamp that I shoved in my shop last year at 999,999 sold yesterday. I might've been able to get more for it, but I'm not complaining. It was worth 17k only a few months ago, and it's been sitting in my shop for the stupidly high price since everyone went crazy last year when the Sticky stamp showed up. Pretty much EVERYTHING for that album is now inflated. If you want to complete it, I'd highly recommend waiting for a month or two (or more) for the prices to come back down.

It will be interesting to see what comes out tomorrow. Last year, they gave out the Roxtons Trusty Bowie Knife (which turned out to be a pretty decent battledome item) so....I guess we'll see?

In regards to yesterday's comic, yeah, in retrospect, it was definitely a cool retcon. I was too tired to focus on it. I do kinda miss having to catch the bonuses, even when they were trickier, but...yeah.

I'm assuming that the comic is kinda a lead-up to the plot. Kinda like the bits at the end of the Faerie Festival...but who knows exactly what it will mean in terms of the plot. So far, we've got Orion seeming a little unhinged, and Reina is definitely frustrated. It'll be interesting to see what the "visions" are, if we'll even get to see them....

The Power of Friendship is a 13-icon weapon. Not quite as cool as the weapons last year, but still a different variety of icons.

Apparently I was so tired yesterday that I didn't realize that the comic WAS the first part of Orion's visions. Today's was a little creepier. Definitely feeling like it's leading into the plot. Holiday Memories is a defensive item - blocks 100% of 3 icon types and heals 20%...but counts as a healer so you'd have to decide between it and a higher-percentage healer. Decisions, decisions...

Yeah, I assumed they were since they didn't fit the AC theme, but my post from yesterday doesn't really make that super clear. As I suspected, today's at least hints at the danger, but it's still not clear how this is related to the AC (more specifically, why stopping the AC would prevent it).

At this point, though, it's like "The Monster at the End of This Book," where every comic of the vision is bringing us closer to the end of the AC, when the bad thing is supposed to happen. Maybe Orion should put more plot into each day's comic?
