Re: Daily/Weekly Quests
The weekly prize only resets if you've made no progress. So if you miss a single day on something you've been working towards (1-6 days of green checks), you don't lose the item. If you have no progress, it will reset and change to something else.
That being said, if you skip today, your prize will reroll tomorrow.

Re: Daily/Weekly Quests
Bummer, Blue. That's what happened to me and messed up my count early on, but I thought they'd fixed that glitch.
For what it's worth, I've got three days of progress. I always check that the weekly progress increased by a day since I had that glitch, anyway, so it doesn't really matter to me which day I get my weekly prize.
P.S. When I submitted a bug report, they thanked me but said they couldn't do anything. I wouldn't bother.

Re: Daily/Weekly Quests
I'm not terribly bothered by the glitch. I saw it coming and figured it would happen.
I may have clicked too quickly claiming the prizes. I usually achieve them. All, then collect each of them one by one, get the 20k, then refresh the page (or click on the link in the upper right), make sure the timer is gone, then click on the weekly to make sure that days progress was counted. Since I had it Sunday thru Monday, it was easy to very progress. Now I'll be off by one day. *Sigh*
In the big scheme of things, it's really not a big deal.

Fyora Valentine thingy. Hopefully I get a good prize next week.
Edit: I rarely forget to visit the daily quest page before starting dailies, but when I do, it's a day when I have to buy three items from a shop (I do it with my icy snowball purchases, because I got sick of overpaying for stuff I didn't even want).

Re: Daily/Weekly Quests
Collected my second Pastel P/B yesterday. Rolled a Faerie Krawk Morphing Potion today, so I'm keeping that.
I used to buy Icy Snowballs for my items, but now I buy Healing Potion XXII 's. They're 82 NPs, heal 225 HPs (out of battle dome) - same as the Super Strength Healing Potion, but way cheaper. I figured out that this is probably the best out of battledome healer for me cost-wise, as the ones that heal way more are much more expensive. I figure I should stock up for the upcoming plot, and if I have to buy items for daily quests, I'm taking care of two things at the same time (especially since the second-hand market on these have been going up and up and are now close to 300nps).

Re: Daily/Weekly Quests
Ooh, good idea, Pickles! I really need to upgrade my battle set. (Or get my main back). It's going to be hard to remember the first few times, but then it should be easy.
I finally finished my daily quests and ended up getting my weekly prize: Strawberry Shoyru Hand Puppet.
Fingers crossed tomorrow gives me a good prize!

Re: Daily/Weekly Quests
I usually buy SDB fodder because whatever I buy is usually less than the NP reward for shopping. I like the Healing Potion XXII idea. Maybe I will do that instead, but you can only buy one item every 30 minutes... I typically do my Neopets activities in only one "chunk" per day. Sometimes more, but rarely so.

Re: Daily/Weekly Quests
AMA today suggested that prizes will be changing potentially "soon" because they have "enough data" from the first round.
Hoping they keep the Spring Gift Box, and maybe add codestones/neggs in as the daily quest prizes, because eeesh the prices on those are going crazy.

Re: Daily/Weekly Quests
My new prize is Taiko Standing Drum Collectable Charm.
I have no idea if it's worth much, but I actually really like Taiko drums, so I'm happy with it.

Re: Daily/Weekly Quests
Apparently, the Taiko Standing Drum Collectable Charm is ~800k on the SW and there are very few for sale.
ETA:
Picked up the Space Faerie Doll yesterday. Today is yet another Game controller charm (3rd one). I shall skip today's entirely in hopes for a better tomorrow. This will also put me back on a Monday - Sunday schedule.
ETA2:
Skipped yesterday. Now playing for a Jelly Negg. Something new and different

Re: Daily/Weekly Quests
Picked up a Faerie Krawk MP yesterday. Today's is a bust. Rerolling...
Re: Daily/Weekly Quests
I got 100k last week, and now I'm trying for a Friendly Cultist Plushie. I'm too much of a completionist to skip for a different prize.

And meanwhile, here I am, still rerolling for something good. Should've just gone with the 100k the other day, but...I didn't.

Re: Daily/Weekly Quests
As a completionist myself, I actually felt bad the day I skipped a 3rd (AAA) Gaming charm. Then again, it got me back on track for Monday-Sunday after the ding-dang glitch on a Saturday that caused me to take 13 days to complete a quest.
ETA: Picked up a Tablet yesterday. This week is.... a Plushie Poogle Morphing Potion!
