Blue, when you miss a day, if you've made progress towards the weekly goal, it will reset your chain to zero but keep the same prize. If you haven't made any progress towards the weekly goal (either because you missed day 1 or were reset the day before) and miss a day, then it will give you a new weekly prize (or if you're really unlucky, the same one).

I should probably add this to the first post, eventually. I don't think anyone has a 100% complete guide to all the quirks of the Quest Log yet.

To reroll your weekly quest prize:
Day 1: Visit the quest log. If you do not like your prize, either don't do any quests, or purposefully click "skip quest" on at least one quest. I personally will skip at least one quest, complete the rest, then refresh to make sure the timer went away and that at least one of the green check marks is missing.
Day 2: MAKE SURE TO VISIT QUEST LOG. Check your weekly prize. It is possible it will be the same as the previous day, but the odds of that are very low. If you still don't like your prize, follow the Day 1 steps again until you end up with a prize you like.

Notes:
-Many people have noticed that if you reroll on Day 1, do NOT visit on Day 2, then go back on Day 3, the prize will NOT change from Day 1!! This can be super useful if you wanted a prize and messed up, reset your progress, and missed a day - you can get that same prize back. However...it can also cause you to miss a day of rerolling if you're trying for something new.
-Some people have also reported being "stuck" on the same prize (like what happened to me early on) and had to complete it before they could get something new.

This week is a Combo Battle Mirror, which looks like a lousy battledome item (and not worth a whole lot...). I guess I'll do it anyway. I am happy with the 20k+/day and the daily stuff. (maybe)

Edit: And now it's my turn for a Combo Battle Mirror. Jellyneo says it's worth 255k, but I have a parasol, which does more, and I can't imagine it will be worth as much after a month of being a weekly quest prize.

But what else is in the current prize pool? Guess I'll check JN to see if it's worth skipping.

(Edit: it didn't change on 8/1, so I could still get a shell. Definitely skipping. Now to figure out which daily quest prize is worth the least... And we have a winner! Tyrannian Horn, worth a whopping ONE NP!)

New prize pools are out. I will attempt to make a list of the big items sometime later this week, but no guarantees. As I was already rerolling for a decent prize, I got a new one today. I really wish the Super Attack Bacon was actually worthwhile...but it's not.

Of course, they added the Super Negg right after I bought one for my gallery less than a month ago. Sigh.

I just picked up a Faerie City Balcony Background and am working on a Shadow Paint Brush.

The balcony looked better as the little icon. Sev is standing on it now. It is less impressive on a pet. Ah well, it's all good

My new prize is a fire Faerie doll. Which supposedly is worth 13M, but for who knows how long? Looking through the prize pool, there are several things that have devalued even more quickly (or just started out much lower), but there are also a few things worth a lot more... Or even things worth a lot less but that I personally would like a lot more.

Seems ridiculous to reroll something "worth" so much, but it will lose a lot of value before I ever get around to selling it.

What to do?

It's day 1, so would only cost me one day to skip.

Thanks for the advice, Blue. It came too late, so I ended up getting a new bonus. Today's offer is a geb. According to JN, it's currently worth 6M , but at least it's a cute petpet. Guess I'll work for this one.

I actually lucked out and got one of the P3s I wanted (Dragonfly Nymph). Still hoping for a Cooty, too...I need to replace the one I lost to the hacker all those years ago.

This person has a list of the weeklies by price. It updates as the prices update. Please, for the love of everything, do NOT do a streak with a Lesser Healing Scroll as your prize...
