There's been so many... the Asparagus Pets, Neopets XTREME, all the petpets disappearing to feast on giant green jelly... what's your favorite?

Mine is the Neocharge. I spent all day racking up NPs owed on that day. Ah, classic.

Neocharge was my favorite, by far. Gosh, some people were so freaked by it. They seemed to forget that it was April Fool's Day. And that the site was founded by a couple of pranksters.

I posted so many times on the Neoboards that day, trying to reassure the terrified newbies that it was just a prank- and to pay more attention to the date! I'm disappointed that we didn't get avatars, though, cuz I racked up over 100K in page view charges that day.

Lol, i was freaked out at first i saw the Neocharge thingy but then i realized that it was April Fool a few minutes later.

Wasn't the Ogrin... or that Llama pet the one they released?

Anyways, my favorite was actually the Neopets Extreme one.

The Gnorbu is one of them, and I believe the Lutari is one, as well (a variation on the original). And I want to say the Hissi is too, but I'm not certain. I know the Gnorbu is, for sure, though.

Hmm... I may have to change my fave prank. This AC one is quite delicious! I love the description on the items, too- This was given out by the Advent Calendar in Y8 after a mean prank by TNT.

Newbies for years to come will speculate and wonder about this!!!

The Neocharge had me going for a little while, but (eventualy) figured it must be a joke. I do remember being thankful for having my most frequent areas in my browser history so I didn't have to "pay" to navigate my way to get to my favorite spots.

The Asparagus pets... It was shortly after I joined Neopets and can remember thinking What the Heck??? I was frantically trying to figure out what happened to my precious pet. I only had one at the time, so I wouldn't have noticed that my other pets were affected, too.

The Gnorbu was a joke? The Lab Ray has recently made my lab pet one of them. I also used to have a Hissi...

For this year's Advent Calender items, I missed the description about "after a mean prank by TNT."

Don't forget the time they changed our pets into mutants.

But I think the April Fools pets were my favorite. That original llama pet was so much better than the Gnorbu we eventually got.

I thought it was just the Gnorbu. o.O

I do, however, personally believe that the Xweetok was spawned from the prank species too. It's not as obvious as the Gnorbu though.

I liked the mutant day one when I first joined in summer of 2004. I was totally freaked out about my pets turning ugly. At the time it happened was while I was at the faerie food shop and I was haggling. I didn't want to pay nearly as much as the shopkeeper expected. I got a message saying she was tired of me haggling and putting a pox to all my neopets.

For the rest of the day I thought that was what caused my pets to turn ugly. (minus my gelert who was blue at the time) I noticed lots of other mutant pets and just assumed that it was a popular color, a very popular one at that. :oops:

While the neocharge was quite nifty, and I enjoyed people freaking out on the neoboards immensely, I have to say that this AC prank is the best. TNT have outdone themselves this time for sure. Even I got caught up in it

Seasonal Attack Pea Plushie is something I shall never part with, if only because of the item description
