Apparently for USA users, the front page of Neopets has a Faerie themed skin.

We haven't had a good plot conspiracy theory for awhile, so I am going to start one. LOL.

I can't see it, so I don't know the sizing, but going by the screenie someone else took, it is an actually skin that goes behind the neopets page and is bigger than the site theme.

This is different to a site theme.

The url says FF (presumably Faerie Festival) and Skin (a feature that changes the look of the original background). Does this mean, we get the opportunity to collect skins now?

Or does it just mean that is what the background for the front page is called?

This is my front page - notice I have no room for a skin. So will the front page items be smaller or does the page get bigger?



....Anyhoo, it may turn out to be nothing, but I thought I would have some fun with a upcoming event.

Skins don't show up on Mobile. I know they have had skins in the past advertising a few movies, so I doubt we might collect them. But seeing a skin that's not for an ad does surprise me. Does it link to part of the site or is it just a picture?

I have a feeling there's going to be a plot. The most recent was TFR, and that was a while ago. I think we're due for one.

For some reason, the characters in the picture seem familiar to me. Maybe it's because I used to spend some of my time reading Jellyneo's Book of Ages articles, but something about them tells me I should know who they are. I think it's just me, though.

Thanks for the info on skins DHK. I have never seen one, so was unsure if we have had them before. The image is someone elses, that is what it looks like. The link I put up, is just the image url.

Yep, the characters are well know...Kanrik is from the Hannah and the Ice Caves plot (2009).

Most people I have chatted with, say no plot....but I feel TNT had no reason to post that particular image unless they wanted to hint at something big.

I've been playing Neopets for eight years now, and I remember that, a long time ago, I was absolutely in love with the Hannah and the Ice Caves comic about the Bringer's Curse and Kanrik and all those characters. It seems Tyrannia is still stuck in the stone age (bu dum ts). Faerieland has had TWO remodels, plus there was Krawk Island and Roo Island -- not to mention the remodels that happened eons ago. Why no Tyrannian love? D: ~sdspj
Oh, don't worry. We haven't forgotten about Tyrannia. Actually, there have been whispers of strange things happening there. Hopefully we'll know more soon!

Yay! And now I remember that I sent in an editorial "question" a while back. I wonder if it ever got answered. I can't even remember what it was about! Oh, wait... I think I gave a shout-out to the support team, because their answer made me laugh despite the fact that they couldn't actually fix my issue right away. Back to main story. Tyrannia! I wasn't around for any of the other Tyrannian events, so I know nothing about its "history." Who did they battle? Maraqua?

Unfortunately I wasn't around then either.

The Tyrannia plot was used to introduce Tyrannia through the chasm that formed in Terror Mountain (remember the old art?). I believe it was just a land war between Tyrannians.
