How do/did your parents punish you?

Mine are partial to the "torture" methods. No, not that type of torture. They give me the silent treatment, the stare-down, the treating-my-brother-with-extra-sweetness. Aye. It's icy cold and quiet here. I hope they forgive me soon. *gets ready to bed for forgiveness*

My parents... don't really punish me. They know that I realize it when I've done something wrong, so they don't feel the need to punish me, I guess...

My mom bans me from using electronic devices unless I need to for school, like computers. Aside from that she just yells a lot.

Mines are kinda the same, when I do something they don't like they don't punish me just yell at me or something then we both cool off after a while and are fine with eachother. But the yelling, ugh.

My father used to slap me when mother wasnt looking, but only for a while as by the time I was seven I could whack him back and run. My mother used to always threaten my privilages for watching TV, and now days if angry won;t let me near the alcohol.

Go to your room...

If its that bad they take away my laptop... or at least they say they do
my mom always forgets to actually take it.

My parents could never use the old "You're grounded" idea on me because I spent most of my time at home. Hence, I just used to have various things taken away from me like the computer, television, etc. Having said that though, I only got into trouble very rarely.

My brother on the other hand could have the "You're grounded" treatment used on him because he was always going out, my Mum however came to the conclusion that if she gave that punishment she'd have to deal with him at home so she gave-up on that and he just used to have various things taken away too.

My parents would take things from me like my tv, phone, the lock on my bedroom door. They wouldn't let me go out with friends, so I'd have to sneak out. They'd tell me I wasn't really a part of the family, swear at me, threaten to have my stuff packed ready for me to leave, etc. I'd also get hit.

Ah, the wonderful family memories . . .

Hmm... I don't really get punished, I would just talk about it with my mom. Sometimes she would shout at me, but not a lot.

I never got punished because I was a good kid but when I did do something wrong I remember my dad would send me through these huge guilt trips that would leave me down for days. Thankfully neither of my parents believed in hitting, I just wish they would have yelled at me instead.

I don't usually get in major trouble. If I did (the last time was about... at least 2 or 3 months ago), I usually get the computer taken away.
