I fid it pointless too, I am never alowed out anyway...

For grounding, my parents just takes all the plugs/batteries of all my favorites stuff and hide them. Even the T.V. cable. They have a pretty good hiding place, because I never find the stuff when they go out and leave me at home grounded.

They were harsher 5 years ago. Each time I did something, my dad would take out his belt, make me lie on the floor and hit me the belt in the lower-back area. The number of hits depended on how bad I was. The minimum was 10 hits X_X. After a while, the belt broke, so he used a old toy sword instead. It was plastic, but it was still hard. Ouch.

I don't get punished, because I don't do anything wrong. ^_^

Mom used to hit me, but she stopped doing that a while ago. She knows that I have no problem with hitting her back. Now she just screams and yells.

Dad never gets mad at me, I've only seen him mad once. He punched a few holes in the doors/wall.

Until I was around 10 I'd get beatings, and after that I pretty much just stopped getting in trouble. I got grounded once, for a week I think, but it was just for going places, so I just stayed home and got on the computer. Not that big a punishment, really. Oh, and they used to give me the typical yellings to get out of the house, but that stopped when my brother and I would seriously leave the house if they told us too. Almost called the cops once on my brother because they couldn't find him for hours. If it's just something minor though, I just get a talking to and maybe sent to my room. It usually does have an effect on me regretting what I did though, so I'd say it's working. I hardly get in trouble at all now.

My parents don't really punish me... it's more like with my mum get really upset and make me feel guilty, and with my dad, getting angry for ridiculous reasons. X_X

I don't get punished, I'm 19 lol. I still live at home though. When I was younger like 10 or so, I'd get sent to my room, but that didn't happen that much, I was a really bratty kid too. My dad isn't strict, my mom isn't either but I hardly ever lived with her.

I just get yelled at and the silent treatment most of the time. I don't go out very often so there's no point in grounding me.

It's the weirdest thing. If I do something wrong my parents just stop talking to me. There's not really any yelling or ' I'm disappointed in you...' they just don't say anything. Which means that some of the time I've no idea what it is that I've done.

If they ever do punish me it's usually just no tv, so I go out

I don't get punished, because I don't do anything wrong really. I mean, I don't get yelled at or anything. I get in fights with my mom sometimes, but then I'm usually the one who gives her the silent treatment.

Near the ending of school this past year, my greades started slipping and my mom took my Internet cable away. It was painful.
